10. Kontakt Budapest International Improvisation Festival (D#1)
SÍN Cultural Center (1139 Budapest, Gyutacs u. 10-18. www.sinarts.org) Kontakt
Budapest is an annual International Improvisation Festival that has
been organized since 2002. As in previous years the annual
International Improvisation Festival was open for people with all
abilities. This year we celebrated our 10th addition with foreign
artists/teachers, who had been in our Festival in one or many of the
previous Festivals and of course the teacher staff includeed
Hungarians. What is also unique about this year that all three projects
was lead by two master teachers from the field of improvisation. They
collaborated and while teaching they explored different perspectives on
their offered material!
The festival, similar to last years, organized classes and workshops,
it offered space to research and explore movements, to work deeply with
different aspects of improvisation and it gave possibility to perform.
The festival welcomeed beginners and professional dancers, performers,
actors, musicians, composers, and those working with improvisation for
long.

DÉPARTS evening (D#3)
Trafo (1094 Bp. Liliom u. 41. www.trafo.hu)
Two choreographies made for the request of Trafó:
Eléonore Valere-Lachky (F/B): Whirling
The five dancers of Whirling are constantly pushing their physical
boundaries, by distributing and reusing the energy they gain from
themselves and each other. Vitality, simplicity and raw power appears
as an energy field on the stage – on one of the field, the various
personalities confront with each other, while on the other end is a
quiet, calm, idyllic place, a sanctuary where everyone would love to
lull themselves asleep.
Choreographer: Eléonore Valere-Lachky
Performers: Zsuzsa Jónás, Dávid Mikó, Csaba Varga, Bea Egyed, Péter Juhász
Molnár Csaba (SK/H): KITTY 2012
The events of Kitty 2012 appearing in the post-apocalyptic atmosphere
created by its music are searching for their place and meaning.
Thousands of meanings and solutions surface, but there’s nothing to
understand about KITTY 2012.
Concept: Csaba Molnár
Creative partners and performers: Júlia Garai, Csaba Molnár, Marco Torrice, Imre Vass
