EDIT International Dance Film Festival, organized by the Workshop Foundation, in the frame of Budapest Autumn Festival, held this year for the fourth time. The event offers a selection of the latest productions in this genre that has a long past in Hungary too but in recent years has been rather neglected. In 2008 it presents around 50 new works by international artists, and several documentary films about different contemporary dance projects.
Beside the screenings, audience can try the movement installation of Kitchen Budapest, see dance performances in the café and stay for the audience talks. The venue this year is the nicely renovated Toldi Theatre.
A four-day filmmaking workshop is held for the ones who would like to learn more about dancefilms and videos.
